Iconic New Zealand guitar pedal company Red Witch is about to launch their new Nonpareil series.
A very special production of only 54 pedals, the Nonpareil offer guitarists an opportunity to own something completely unique. Each of the 54 pedals has it’s own unique art work and circuit iteration.
Owner/designer Ben Fulton says:
“As a guitarist myself, I love the idea of owning a “one of one” pedal – a pedal that is the only one in existence. Visually and sonically. Each image is inspired by one of the 54 lines in Samuel Taylor Coleridge’s remarkable poem “Kubla Khan – A vision within a dream: A fragment”.
Fulton commissioned New Zealand based artist Rachael Gannaway to create 54 original works of art, inspired by each line of the poem, to adorn the top face of each pedal. He explains that each pedal has it’s own unique version of the circuit.
The combined result is a once in a lifetime chance to own a completely bespoke work of art – something that no one else has, and will never ever be made again. Months in the making, Fulton says he is “elated” with the result and can’t wait to see Nonpareil out in players hands.
Nonpareil goes live on the Red Witch website on Saturday 11th Dec, 12pm PST (CA, USA time) where all further details will be unveiled.
