Magnatone Announces New Satellite Extension Speaker Cabinet for the Starlite Amp Model

Available in both 1 x 12” and 2 x 10” configurations

ST. LOUIS, MO – December 21, 2022 – (GUITARpr) – Magnatone has just announced the release of its new Satellite Extension Cabinet, designed and specifically voiced for connection to the highly acclaimed Magnatone Starlite 1 x 8″ Combo Amp. This USA-built, WGS-powered extension cabinet is available in a 1 x 12″ or 2 x 10″ configuration and its vertically oriented cabinet stacks perfectly with the Starlite. This cabinet is cosmetically matched with the identical materials and touch points of the Starlite in the Traditional Collection from Magnatone.

Both cabinets feature:

  • WGS 20-Watt Ceramic Magnet Speakers
  • Finger Jointed Construction
  • Open or Closed Back Options
  • 14K Gold Plated Chevron
  • Custom Magnatone Embossed Saddle Leather Handle
  • Deluxe Cover Included
  • Extended Feet for the Starlite Included

The Satellite connects to the remote speaker jack on the Starlite, which disengages the amp’s internal 8” speaker. This allows the player to use a different pallet of tones with larger or multiple speakers while still enjoying the characteristics of the Starlite. According to Rod Washburn, Magnatone GM, “We wanted to give players using the Starlite the best sounding, best looking additions possible. This takes the remote speaker feature to another level.” Satellite Extension Cabinets will ship on February 1, 2023 and are available for pre-order now to ensure expedited delivery. Both cabinets are priced at $1149.
