Whilst undeniably pretty on the eye and with pickups faithfully replicating the original models from the 1950’s, right down to the copper wire, magnets and zinc/brass alloys used within the construction of the legendary lipstick pickup covers, the new Fifty Niners fitted with a USA built CRL selector switch, sonically soar and deliver the classic warm, sweet Dano single coil jangle, twang, clarity and fast attack that’s perfect for a host of styles, from surf to country, rockabilly to blues, pop and rock.
Accurate tuning and pin-point intonation is ensured with straight string-pull from vintage style closed-back chrome tuners, set 3-aside the ‘coke bottle’ headstock profile, via a precision-cut bone nut, to the fully adjustable wrap-over bridge, while the double cutaway semi-hollow body design and bolt-on maple neck, allows easy access to the full length of the 21 fret polished, flat radius, rosewood fingerboard.
