Each of these musicians has earned the respect of their fans and their peers around the globe. Here’s why:

Jeff Berlin is an American jazz/fusion bass guitarist who has earned a reputation as one of the world’s most influential players and one of the finest clinicians. Berlin continues to record and tour throughout the world with his original style and technical proficiency, influencing a younger generation of players. He inspired and helped to design Cort’s Rithimic Series of bass guitars.

Frank Gambale is a GRAMMY® Award-winning guitar virtuoso and inspired songwriter with more than 250 songs published on more than 20 albums. The Australia native revolutionized the “sweep picking” technique, which is now part of the guitar lexicon, and has authored numerous instructional books and DVD. His music touches on many styles, from rock, funk and jazz to R&B and Latin and Brazilian influences. He collaborated with Cort on the LUXE acoustic-electric, which is ideal for high-speed soloing.

Alessio Menconi began his career as a self-taught guitar prodigy, playing with some of the best musicians in Italy. The winner of multiple prestigious awards, Menconi has led his own trio, worked on solo projects, and taught in the Conservatory of Music in La Spezia and Genoa. His instruments of choice are the Cort Yorktown hollow-body electric and the Grand Regal GA5F-BW acoustic.

Hedras Ramos, a 26-year-old Guatemala City native, is quickly earning a reputation as a leader among the next generation of guitar heroes. A winner and finalist in multiple international competitions, Ramos has earned nearly 20 endorsements from companies on three continents. On his 2017 album “The Impressionist,” he incorporated eight-string guitar to his fusion style of progressive metal with jazz and classical influences. His go-to Cort guitar is the X-11 electric.

Ron “Bumblefoot” Thal is considered one of the most innovative and technically accomplished guitarists in contemporary music. The New York native’s solo work is eclectic and covers a wide variety of genres, and he has played high-profile gigs as a member of Guns N’ Roses. Last year, Thal embarked on Scott Stapp’s “Live and Unplugged” tour with his Cort Gold Series A6 acoustic.

Cort’s artist lineup for 2019 NAMM represents diversity, from origin and age to influence and technique. Learn more about these Cort artists and their instruments of choice at www.cortguitars.com.
