True Point-To-Point Construction Live On The Namm Show Floor
San Francisco, January 16, 2019 — NAMM attendees will have the opportunity to observe a master craftsman in the field of vacuum tube guitar amplification at work on an actual amplifier. Bruce Clement of boutique guitar amp builder BC Audio (bcaudio.com) will demonstrate true point-to-point construction techniques at select times each day of the NAMM Show in Anaheim, California. Demonstrations will be held in the BC Audio booth: Booth 3033 in Hall D.
“I’ll have a partially completed amp chassis opened up on a table in the BC Audio booth,” explains Clement, “and I’m going to work on it just like I do in my workshop in San Francisco – cutting, bending, stripping, mounting and soldering every component and every wire by hand. It will be fun!”
Premier Guitar called Clement’s work “masterful.” Guitar Player declared BC Audio amps “among the best-made guitar amplifiers we’ve seen.”
Amp Building Demonstration Schedule, January 24-27, 2019 (30-minute sessions):
– Thursday 1:30 PM
– Friday 1:30 PM and 4:30 PM
– Saturday 1:30 PM and 4:30 PM
– Sunday 1:30 PM
