The Fret-King Corona FKV6JV, designed to the exacting specifications of British blues legend John Verity, is a modern classic electric guitar. Fans who missed out on the Fret-King Verity model can now experience the stunning playability and soulful sound of the original, thanks to the brand new Vintage V6JV, an updated signature guitar available in two colourways.
The Vintage V6JV is available in brand new, eye-catching Candy Apple Red and Candy Apple Blue paint finishes on both body and headstock, perfectly complementing the guitar’s maple neck and 22 fret fingerboard.
Admirers of the original Verity model will be pleased to learn that the advanced electrical wiring from the FKV6JV has been recreated in the Vintage edition; three vintage voiced Wilkinson® WVS60 single coil pickups, in tandem with a ‘Power Coil’ circuit, produce crystalline cleans, biting mids and detailed low end, with none of the buzz and background noise normally associated with single coil pickups. A five-way selector switch keeps things traditional, alongside a volume pot and two tone controls.
Tuning stability is kept safe and sound thanks to the Graphtech NuBone nut, Wilkinson® WJ07 Pin-Lok machine heads and Wilkinson® WV2SB vibrato bridge, so no matter what style of music you choose to play, the Vintage V6VJ is equipped to handle all musical styles and scenarios.
