The new Joe Doe™ 2023 Limited Edition series of electric guitars and basses by Vintage®, are totally unique with their incredibly imaginative, individual themes and custom artwork.
Two new single cutaway solid bodied ‘Hot Rod’ electrics available in Silverburst and Goldburst, both feature ‘Big Ernie’s Hot Rod Maniacs’ theme printed on the rear of the mahogany necks, along with distinctive eye-catching pin-stripe décor on the carved maple tops and headstock face. The guitars are exact reproductions of those played by the American’s original rebel rousers, Bernie and Ernie Angelo.
Designed and created by Joe Doe founder Ben Court, these individual models feature solid mahogany bodies, bound carved maple tops and 22 fret, bound, rosewood dot inlaid fingerboards, Wilkinson WJ15 with chrome button machine heads, Wilkinson GTB wraparound bridge/tailpieces and a pair of WOCH Wilkinson double coil pickups.
