TAMPA, Fla.— Dean Guitars® announces the latest addition to its esteemed Select Series: The Vengeance Select Evertune Fluence Black Cherry Burst. Back by popular demand with a new name, Dean’s Vengeance V shape brings performance, aggression, and class all together with an array of impressive features for power and precision. With its stunning flame maple top, multi-voiced Fishman Fluence Modern pickups, and sleek design, the Vengeance Select Evertune Fluence Black Cherry Burst is built to inspire players to push boundaries and explore new sonic territory.
The ability to break new ground starts with a rock-solid sonic foundation. Dean delivers with an all-mahogany body to ensure a resonant and balanced tone. The flame maple top has a captivating Black Cherry Burst finish that stands out, especially with single-ply white binding around the body, neck, and headstock. The aggressive V shape provides the ultimate in high-fret access.
Dean further prioritizes the Vengeance Select’s sonic foundation with a set-in mahogany neck for excellent stability and sustain. A dual-action truss rod allows for precise neck adjustments as needed and according to player preferences. The slim “C” neck profile and 25.5-inch scale length provide a familiar feel and easy fretting. The bound ebony fingerboard has a 12-inch radius and 24 jumbo stainless-steel frets with eye-catching pearloid ultra diamond inlays. Large glow-in-the-dark side markers help players get their bearings on a dimly lit stage.
Dean unleashes the beast with a pair of Fishman Fluence Modern Black pickups. Free from the hum, noise, and frustrating inductance issues that plague wire-wound pickups, Fishman Fluence pickups reveal pure, uncorrupted, and musical tone. They are also multi-voice, allowing the player to easily switch from blistering clear solos to aggressive growling power chords. Dean enables precise sound shaping with three knobs for bridge volume, neck volume, and tone. A 3-way selector switch and Fluence KT-5 Push Pull pot provide players the function and flexibility they need to dial in their exact sound.
To keep the fury unbridled but unmuddled, the Vengeance Select uses an EverTune® bridge that maintains constant tension on each individual string, prolonging tuning stability even during the most aggressive playing. Mini Grover 18:1 tuners provide for more precise tuning and even more stability. The Graph Tech NuBone® nut maintains a width of 1 11/16″, transferring optimum frequencies for tone and greater harmonics.
