The full range of Bohemian Oil-Can electric guitars, basses and ukuleles now feature Lignum Rosa fingerboards, a popular tonewood renowned for its smooth feel, durability and natural sonic characteristics, an ideal pairing with the rock maple necks.
The necks themselves, feature an extended tenon design, travelling the full length of the oil-can body, whilst an internal basswood structure, counterbalances the guitar’s playing position and enhances natural sustain and output. Unplugged, these cool instruments also have enough volume for unamplified practicing.
Constructed from high quality steel, the new Bohemian instruments maintain all the features that have made these stunning instruments extremely popular with musicians far and wide. Each oil-can body is visually striking, with all models sharing fine detailed, hi-spec designs that include Bohemian Ale, Moonshine, Honey, Hot Sauce, Motor Oil, TNT and Surf Wax.
Aside from the stunning visual concept, all Bohemian guitars, basses and ukuleles are lightweight and feature chrome hardware, including covered machine heads, a tune-o-matic bridge and stud designed tailpiece format for the six string guitars and adjustable, four-saddle bridge designs for bass guitars and ukuleles.
Offered with choice of pickup permutations, including single or multiple single coils, humbucker/single coil, double humbucker, single or double P.90s, Bohemian oil-can guitars have proven to be complete tone monsters, delivering a staggering range of harmonically rich and clear, bell-like tones covering a range of musical styles, from slide blues, to full-on heavy rock.
Loaded with a pair of single coils, the Bohemian basses deliver a hefty low-end response with an abundance of attitude.
The cute Bohemian ukuleles augment the instrument’s natural acoustics with enough output from a single coil to drive effects for a diverse range of sound enhancements.
