Orange County, California (January 8th, 2020) – Gruv Gear is thrilled to announce that bassists Henrik Linder, Oskar Cartaya, Kenneth ‘Kaybass’ Diggs II and Junior Ribeiro Braguinha will be joined by top musicians to perform at the annual GRUV LIVE concert, at The Vault on Saturday January 18, 2020 at 7:00pm.
Henrik Linder, bass player with Internet sensation Dirty Loops, is best known for his explosive 6-string bass work on the band’s fusion/funk remakes of many Top 40 favorites. Oskar Cartaya, a driving force in the bass world for over 30 years, has worked with an array of artist including musical-directing sold out tours for Jennifer Lopez. Gospel player Kenneth ‘Kaybass’ Diggs II is known for his insane chops and sensitive touch enabling him to groove like there is no tomorrow. Junior Ribeiro Braguinha accompanies drumming superstar Virgil Donati and Brazil’s Eli Soares on tour. He is a versatile player and his enviable mastery of numerous techniques and rhythms makes him the perfect choice for drum and bass improvisations.
Supporting this exciting bass line-up are drumming super star Virgil Donati, studio expert Paul Gonzalez, teenage drum prodigy Jamie-Leigh Schultz, Stevie Wonder’s percussionist Euro Zambrano, British metal guitar phenomenon Andy James, fusion guitarist Andre Nieri, and 12-year-old keyboard/talkbox prodigy Justin-Lee Schultz.
The evening promises to be packed with diverse music from many different genres full of great music, killer jams and surprising collaborations.
