Aguilar Amplification Announces Limited Edition “Dorian Gray” Bass Cabinets For 2018

NEW YORK, NY — Aguilar Amplification is proud to announce their 2018 Limited Edition cabinet color – “Dorian Gray”. Only 250 units of these special SL 112 cabinets and 100 each of the SL 410x and new SL 212 cabinets will be built using this striking color and finish. Each Dorian Gray cabinet will feature a custom “Limited Edition 2018” label on the crossover and come with a numbered certificate of authenticity.

The 25 lb. (11.34 kg) SL 112 cabinet features a neodymium driver with a custom-designed crossover.  The SL 112 also uses a phenolic tweeter with variable level control and a frequency response ranging from 37 Hz – 16 kHz. These cabinets are an inspiring blend of modern technology with a classic vibe.

At only 49 lbs. (22.23 kg), the SL 410x is almost half the weight of a traditional 410 bass cabinet! This cabinet is available in 4 or 8 ohm configurations and can handle 800 watts RMS. It also features four custom-voiced woofers with Neodymium magnets, a phenolic tweeter with variable level control and a frequency response of 44 Hz – 16 kHz.

The SL 212 offers an unprecedented balance of performance and weight. At only 45 lbs. (20.41 kg), this cabinet is available in 4 or 8 ohm configurations and can handle 500 watts RMS. With a frequency response of 37 Hz–16 kHz, the SL 212 provides the deep lows, articulate midrange and smooth treble for which Aguilar is known.

The Dorian Gray SL 112, SL 212 and SL 410x will be released in January 2018.
