Winzz Guitars has introduced the WOS 100-24 Electric Guitar, the flagship model of the company’s new Orbit Series. Designed for modern players focused on speed, precision, and tonal versatility, the guitar combines performance-oriented hardware with contemporary styling.
The WOS 100-24 is available exclusively through direct factory sales and enters the market with a starting price of $389.99 USD.
Modern Design Built for Performance
The new model features a lightweight alder body with an offset design intended to improve comfort and balance during extended playing sessions. Winzz offers the guitar in four finishes: Gray Sparkle, Cosmic Black, Silver Sunburst, and Pearl White. The Silver Sunburst and Pearl White versions also include body binding for a more premium appearance.
A roasted Canadian maple “glider neck” is attached using a five-bolt construction system for enhanced stability. The neck includes a satin polyester finish and an asymmetric heel joint designed to improve upper fret access.
The instrument uses a 25.5-inch scale length and a compound fingerboard radius ranging from 12 to 16 inches, aiming to support both rhythm and lead playing styles. Additional specifications include 24 medium jumbo stainless-steel frets, a synthetic bone nut, and Luminlay side dots for improved visibility in low-light environments.
Dual Humbuckers with Coil-Splitting Capability
The WOS 100-24 is equipped with custom Alnico V humbucker pickups in both bridge and neck positions. According to Winzz, the configuration is designed to deliver a wide tonal range, from clean sounds to high-gain performance tones.
Players can shape the sound using a master volume control, master tone control, and a three-way pickup selector. A push/pull tone pot enables coil splitting, adding single-coil-style tonal options for additional flexibility.
Hardware Focused on Stability and Reliability
The guitar also includes several hardware upgrades aimed at tuning stability and ease of maintenance. Features include a two-point tremolo system with steel block saddles, a 10-degree angled headstock, and a 4+2 locking tuner configuration. Hardware finishes are available in either black or chrome.
Winzz states that truss rod adjustments can be performed without removing strings or hardware components, simplifying setup changes for players and technicians.
