First braille guitar amplifier
Victory Amplification has today unveiled a world-first: a fully braille-labelled guitar amplifier designed to support blind and visually impaired musicians.
The special edition amplifier is based on Victory’s Duchess MKII V40 Combo and was created in collaboration with blind guitarist Anthony Ferraro, who expressed interest in trying the model late last year. During development, Victory identified a significant lack of accessible solutions within musical equipment — particularly in the guitar amplifier space — and set out to change that.
The resulting amplifier features fully translated braille labelling across both the front and rear control panels. All braille follows international standards for dot spacing, character separation and height, achieved through UV emboss printing that exceeds minimum tactile requirements. Combined with the Duchess MKII’s signature chicken-head control knobs, every setting can now be identified and adjusted entirely by touch.
Each braille layout was independently reviewed and refined through multiple iterations before final production. The amplifier was then built at Victory’s UK manufacturing facility.

Unbeknownst to Ferraro, the amp was shipped as a surprise, accompanied by a braille-translated letter explaining the project. Upon receiving it in early January 2026, Ferraro shared a filmed unboxing on TikTok – the video surpassed 3 million + views in under 24 hours and has since spread widely across the global music community. 24 hours later Ferraro shared the video with his Instagram audience, where it has since amassed over 7 million views and 960,000 likes.
The project has become a pivotal learning experience for Victory, highlighting the accessibility challenges faced by visually impaired musicians. As a direct result, Victory has announced a permanent accessibility commitment.
Effective immediately, Victory Amps will offer braille panel options on any amplifier in its current product catalogue as a factory-direct order, at no additional cost, worldwide. In addition, a portion of sales will be donated to a UK-based blind charity chosen by Anthony.
This initiative reflects Victory’s ongoing commitment to inclusivity, craftsmanship, and artist-first design.
