RAD Distribution has entered an exclusive global partnership with BABICZ Full Contact Hardware® (FCH), expanding the distributor’s portfolio into guitar and bass hardware. Announced on August 21, 2026, the agreement is intended to strengthen BABICZ FCH’s OEM business while improving aftermarket availability, service and customer support worldwide.
The partnership adds the guitar hardware specialist to RAD Distribution’s growing roster of professional audio and musical equipment brands.
RAD Distribution Expands Into Guitar Hardware
RAD Distribution was founded by company president Jon Haber, a music industry veteran with 40 years of experience in retail, team development, manufacturing and the international growth of professional audio and recording brands.
Based in Middletown, New York, RAD has established a distribution network for professional studio and recording equipment across North America and other international markets. The agreement with BABICZ marks a further expansion into the guitar and bass sector.
“As we expand RAD Distribution into top-tier guitar innovation, partnering with Jeff Carano and BABICZ FCH was a natural first choice,” Haber said. “Their engineering pedigree and reputation for precision craftsmanship make them the perfect addition to our roster.”
BABICZ Builds on Decades of Guitar Industry Experience
BABICZ co-founders Jeff Carano and Jeff Babicz began working together during the 1980s and 1990s as executive managers for guitar and bass innovator Ned Steinberger. They later founded Babicz Guitars in 2003.
In 2008, the company introduced its Full Contact Hardware® system featuring patented eCAM saddles. BABICZ FCH has expanded its precision-hardware catalog since 2010, developing bridge and saddle systems for a wide range of electric guitars and basses.
According to BABICZ, the cam-based saddle design provides 50 times more direct surface-area contact. The system is designed to improve resonance transfer, sustain, tonal dimension and tuning stability while allowing precise intonation and playability adjustments.
OEM Partnerships and the FCH510G
BABICZ FCH currently supplies OEM hardware for select Fender and Tobias by Gibson basses, Harley Benton’s flagship Fusion-series guitars and other instrument brands.
The company also recently collaborated with Gotoh on the FCH510G. The product combines the BABICZ eCAM saddle with Gotoh’s flagship 510 dual-fulcrum tremolo system and is distributed exclusively in the United States by RAD Distribution.
“We’ve long respected RAD’s ability to bring new innovations into the hands of musicians,” said BABICZ Full Contact Hardware co-founder Jeff Carano. “Jon Haber and his team bring the sales reach, logistics, and service network we need to ignite BABICZ Full Contact Hardware® on a global scale.”
The companies said their wider partnership will focus on increasing the global reach of BABICZ FCH products across OEM manufacturing, authorized dealers and the aftermarket.
