Mayfly Audio releases the Déesse dual flanger

Ottawa, Ontario – March 2, 2026 – It’s been the running joke at the Mayfly shop for years: What flanger prototype will Trevor throw in the trash this week? We’re pretty picky about the sound of our effects, but the flanger project was getting ridiculous. However after many failed experiments, we finally have a flanger that we feel is the best in the world: The Déesse dual flanger. The Déesse has two foot-switch selectable sides with independent Speed and Width controls. Set side A to be a classic slow flange, sent side B to a ring modulator sound (or anything in-between), and switch between them on the fly, live. There are Manual and Regen controls, and of course it’s full bypass. Like the popular Mayfly Goddess dual chorus, the Déesse uses bucket brigade delay chips to give it its great sound. These chips are expensive and a pain to work with, but our many failed digital flanger protos showed us that this old-school tech still sounds the best.
