HAMBURG, GERMANY – Internationally acclaimed guitarist Marcus Deml has released the official video for “Budapest”, the opening track from his highly anticipated new album PURE. The full album will be released on November 7, 2025, via Triple Coil Music (CD and digital formats), with pre-orders available now.
“Budapest” sets the tone for PURE with its cinematic atmosphere and emotional depth. The piece captures the spirit of a city steeped in history, transforming its essence into melody and tone. As with the entire album, Deml’s guitar becomes a storyteller—offering listeners not just notes, but vivid imagery and lived experience.
PURE is Deml’s second solo album following his acclaimed debut Healing Hands. The nine-track collection is a surprisingly candid reflection of our turbulent times—free from distractions, focused purely on melody, empathy, and composition. The digipack includes stories behind each song as well as a detailed equipment list for guitar enthusiasts.
Born in Prague and based in Hamburg, Marcus Deml has proven himself as one of today’s most distinctive guitarists. A graduate of the Musicians Institute in Los Angeles, he spent years in the U.S. working on more than 400 albums with artists such as Toto’s Bobby Kimball, John Wetton, Nena, Rick Astley, Saga, and many more. He is also the creative force behind bands like Errorhead, Electric Outlet, The Blue Poets, and Earth Nation.
With PURE, Deml once again proves his ability to blend unobtrusive virtuosity with emotional storytelling, creating music that speaks to guitar fans and general audiences alike.
