24th April 2025 – Madrid (Spain) Dirty Boys owner Danny Gomez recently received a surprise text message from Colin Brittain, drummer and producer with legendary rock band Linkin Park, saying ‘Are you guys back!! I’m in love with your pedals.’ He then went on to add ‘we used the Dirty Boy Ball Buster on pretty much the entire new Linkin Park album, its especially noticeable on Heavy Is The Crown.’

Brittain then invited Gomez to meet in Paris and during the ensuing conversations it turned out bass player Dave Farrell has been using Dirty Boy pedals for years. Then guitarist / keyboardist Mike Shinoda said, ‘Loved them!’. Before he left, Gomez gave them a new Dirty Boy Preamp pedals to try out.

‘Dirty Boy pedals are the most musical, unique and dynamic distortion effects I’ve ever used, hands down. I use them on almost every single project. I’m so happy Danny is continuing to build on such an iconic legacy’, said Brittain.

American rock band Linkin Park, often regarded as one of the best bands of their generation, reformed in September 2024 and quickly released the bands eighth album From Zero to critical acclaim. Currently on tour in the USA, they are due in Europe in the summer where they headline the UEFA Championship Final Kick Off Show before moving back to the States, Canada and South America.

Dirty Boy Pedals, founded by Alex Saraceno, father of Poison guitarist Blues Saraceno, was taken over by Danny Gomez, musician and product designer in 2024. The Ball Buster is one of the company’s iconic legacy pedals. Recently Gomez has introduced the Dirty Boy Preamp, a pedal sized, fully analog amplifier simulator based on the classic amplifier designed by the company’s founder. This pedal joins the Buzzy Boy, Germanium Boy and Afro Fuzz pedals.
