Line 6 launches Helix firmware 3.80 update

Free Line 6 Helix 3.80 Firmware Update Brings Even More to the Helix Platform

CALABASAS, CA. November 19, 2024 — Line 6 has released the free Helix^® 3.80 firmware for its Helix Floor, Helix LT, Helix Rack, HX Effects^™, HX Stomp^™ XL, and HX Stomp processors, HX^® One pedal, as well as the 3.80 software update for the Helix Native plugin.

“The 19^th free update finally delivers the missing link with six of the most requested amp channels and four unique cabs, once again adding more creative tonal options to Helix,” says Eric Klein, Chief Product Design Architect. “Based on the Bogner Ecstasy and EVH 5150III (6L6), these new models round out the portfolio of amps and the Teardrop Bass Q represents the first new Wah since v1.0.”

This update once again demonstrates the power of Helix and HX products as the entire creative tonal palette continues to expand, all the while in lockstep with guitarists’ needs. Although the focus is on new amps and cabs, please note that the HX Effects processor and HX One pedal will still receive a new free effect.
