“Proxy Update” Adds Cloud-Based Cloning, 5 New Amp Channels, Additional Showcase Capabilities, and More to Helix Stadium
CALABASAS, CA. March 24, 2026 – Line 6 today released the free Helix® Stadium 1.3 firmware update for the Helix Stadium XL Floor and Helix Stadium Floor amp & effects processors.
“We dubbed the Helix Stadium 1.3 firmware update the ‘Proxy Update’ because it rolls out phase one of our Proxy cloning engine,” said Eric Klein, Chief Product Design Architect. “But the update also includes five new Agoura amplifier channels from two amps, new Showcase capabilities, additional Global settings, and numerous other additions and improvements.”
Proxy is a cloud-based cloning engine created specifically for Helix Stadium processors. When a Proxy capture is created, training data is securely sent to powerful servers that handle the heavy processing, providing more accurate and detailed results than would typically be possible with onboard processing. Cloud-based processing also enables continuous improvements to be made to the underlying technology without those updates being tied to specific firmware versions. Phase one of Proxy cloning currently offers Amp+Cab, Amp, Preamp, and Distortion pedal cloning.
The Helix Stadium 1.3 firmware update also introduces five new Agoura amp channels from two amplifiers (bringing the current total of Agoura amp channels to 55):
- Matchstick 30 (Channel 1, Channel 2, and Jumped), based on* the Matchless® DC30
- Mandarin Rock 30 (Normal and Overdrive), based on* the Orange® Rockerverb 100 MKIII
New Showcase functionality has also been added, including true Preset and Snapshot automation, MIDI Note Flags (trigger synths, samplers, etc.), MIDI Recall of Playlists and Songs, and new Global Settings for Song load behavior and Looper Flag autostop.
The “Proxy Update” provides significant enhancements to the Helix Stadium XL Floor and Helix Stadium Floor amp and effects processors—continuing the evolution of the most powerful processors ever offered by Line 6.
The Helix Stadium 1.3 firmware update is free and available now.
It can be downloaded and installed directly within the unit via Wi-Fi or over USB using the Line 6 Central application available at line6.com/software.
