Gruv Gear Donates Over $23,000 Of Gear To El Dorado High School

Orange County, California (December 18^th, 2020) – This Christmas, Gruv Gear has donated over $23,000 worth of its popular GigBlade guitar bags to the El Dorado High School in Placentia, California to support its holiday fundraisers.

‘Tis the season for giving,’ said Jay Baldemor, President and Founder of Gruv Gear, ‘and it feels amazing to be able to give something back to help the music instructors that continue to nurture and foster creativity with students, my youngest son included, during their high school years.”

The donation comes during a year when COVID-19 restrictions have severely affected the ability of school’s music department to deliver their usual program of events, field shows, marching bands, live performances and more.

Eric Samson, Director of Instrumental Music at El Dorado, shares, “I have been a fan of Gruv Gear since their inception and I have enjoyed using Gruv Gear products on gigs, performance tours, and even in my classroom. Their recent donation of GigBlades to the El Dorado High School Music Program will allow us to raise necessary funds to help our program thrive during these uncertain times.”

The gift of nearly 150 GigBlade and GigBlade Silver guitar bags is a huge boost to the music department’s fund-raising campaign. More than a dozen guitar bags were already sold in the first day! The money raised will be used to improve the music departments facilities ensuring students are engaged at all times, even when studying remotely.
