Flattley Pedals has introduced the Revolution 10 AE, a special 10th Anniversary Edition of its award-winning Revolution dynamic overdrive pedal. The new model marks the company’s 10th anniversary in 2026 and adds a distinctive purple finish, revised clipping options, and several live-performance-focused hardware updates.

Announced on June 8, 2026, in Sleaford, England, the Flattley Revolution 10 AE is based on the company’s 3-in-1 dynamic overdrive platform. The pedal carries a street price of $319 / £259.00 and is available through Flattley Guitar Pedals.

A 10th Anniversary Edition of the Revolution Overdrive

The Revolution 10 AE builds on the original Flattley Revolution pedal, which was featured in Guitarist Magazine, Issue 474, in August 2021. The original model received the magazine’s “Guitarist Choice” award and later won a “Gear of the Year” award in the January 2022 edition.

For the anniversary edition, Flattley Pedals has given the overdrive a visual and functional update. The pedal features a purple candy lacquer finish, purple laser-etched control knobs, purple halo light rings, and a purple custom-etched aluminium foot topper.

“As it’s our 10th anniversary in 2026 at Flattley Guitar Pedals, we thought it would be rude if we didn’t produce some special editions this year to celebrate, especially of our award-winning Revolution dynamic overdrive,” the company said.

Tube Screamer-Style Circuit with Expanded Clipping Options

The Flattley Revolution 10 AE is described as a flexible dynamic overdrive pedal based on a Tube Screamer-style circuit, but with added gain range and tonal flexibility. According to the company, the pedal is designed to deliver smooth, creamy overdrive tones with depth and a reactive feel that responds to the player’s touch.

A three-way toggle switch gives the pedal its 3-in-1 character. In the centre position, the overdrive circuit runs through an op-amp integrated circuit. In the upper or forward position, the circuit uses asymmetrical clipping provided by three different types of diodes. In the rearward or aft position, the circuit uses symmetrical clipping provided by silicon diodes installed in a special configuration.

Controls and Features

The Revolution 10 AE keeps a straightforward three-knob control layout while offering multiple clipping voices through the toggle switch.

Revolution 10 AE Controls

  • Volume: Controls the overall output level.
  • Gain: Controls the amount of gain and overdrive.
  • Tone: Controls the balance of treble and bass.

Additional Features

  • 9-volt external power operation with no internal battery option.
  • 20mm purple anodised aluminium custom-etched control knobs.
  • Purple halo light rings.
  • Purple custom-etched aluminium foot topper.
  • Handmade and hand-wired construction in the UK.
  • Hand-processed finish from the Flattley paint shop as part of the Platinum Range.

Designed for Stage Visibility and Live Use

Flattley says the purple halo light rings are designed to diffuse the light during live performance, helping players avoid the harsh brightness of standard LEDs on dark stages. The aluminium foot topper also provides a larger contact area for switching the pedal on and off during quick changes.

As part of the Flattley Platinum Range, the Revolution 10 AE receives a hand-processed finish in the company’s paint shop. The result is a boutique-style enclosure designed to stand out visually while retaining the pedal’s handmade UK construction.
