Elektron Releases Analog Four OS 1.55 With Euclidean Sequencer Mode

Guitar Pro 8 - Buy now

Elektron has released Analog Four OS 1.55, bringing a major feature update to its Analog Four and Analog Keys instruments. The new operating system adds Euclidean Sequencer Mode, Control All, Page Loop, Rotate Arpeggiator Sequence, Save Trig to Sound and other workflow improvements.

The update is available for Analog Four MKII, Analog Four MKI and Analog Keys, extending new sequencing and performance options to both current and earlier hardware versions.

Euclidean Sequencer Mode Comes to Analog Four and Analog Keys

The headline addition in Analog Four OS 1.55 is Euclidean Sequencer Mode. The new mode uses two Euclidean generators to algorithmically distribute trig-like pulses across a sequence, giving users another way to create rhythmic movement inside patterns.

“Analog Four and Analog Keys have joined the Euclidean age.”

Users can add, subtract and control how pulses populate a sequence. By combining both generators, patterns can be made to shift, interlock and evolve, ranging from subtle rhythmic variation to more dramatic pattern changes.

Page Loop Adds Focused Sequencer Editing

Analog Four OS 1.55 also introduces Page Loop, a feature designed to make sequencer editing more focused. It lets users jump directly to a chosen sequencer page and loop it, either on its own or alongside other selected pages.

This allows producers and performers to stay on a specific section while refining a sound, pattern or transition before returning to the full sequence.

Control All Expands Real-Time Sound Manipulation

Control All gives users simultaneous control over parameters across all tracks. By holding a track and adjusting a parameter, changes can be applied broadly across the project.

The feature is intended for fast sound design and performance changes, while still allowing users to reload and return to the saved state if needed.

Arpeggiator Rotation and Additional Workflow Updates

The update also adds Rotate Arpeggiator Sequence. With this feature, Analog Four users can rotate offsets in an arpeggiator sequence, creating new melodic variations without rebuilding the sequence from scratch.

Elektron has also added Save Trig to Sound, alongside several other improvements and fixes. The company advises users to read the full release notes for the complete overview of Analog Four / Analog Keys OS 1.55.

Availability

Analog Four OS 1.55 is available now for Analog Four MKII, Analog Four MKI and Analog Keys. Users can download the update from Elektron and review the release notes for installation details and the full feature list.
