Breedlove Guitars Celebrates Sustainability with Oregon Concert CE Red Cedar-Myrtlewood – Earth Day Special Edition
Bend, Ore. (Jan. 21, 2025) – Breedlove Guitars is excited to announce the Oregon Concert CE Red Cedar-Myrtlewood – Earth Day Special Edition, an impressive tribute to sustainable innovation and craftsmanship. This limited-run guitar showcases a custom inlay and unique tonewoods that celebrate the Pacific Northwest. The Oregon Concert Earth Day guitar will debut at the 2025 National Association of Music Merchants (NAMM) Show in Anaheim, California.
With its unique one-piece, solid red cedar top, this guitar produces warm, rich tones, while the hand-selected myrtlewood back and sides provide clarity and balance across the tonal spectrum. The custom inlay features salmon made from green abalone shell swimming up the fretboard, complementing the rosette and top purfling details.
Every guitar is hand-voiced in the Breedlove Custom Shop using their exclusive Sound Optimization® process, ensuring maximum projection and tonal quality. LR Baggs Anthem electronics ensure that the amplified sound remains true to the guitar’s acoustic character.
“The Oregon Concert CE Red Cedar-Myrtlewood Earth Day Special Edition exemplifies our belief that exceptional sound, craftsmanship and sustainable design go hand in hand,” said Angela Christensen, head of product development and wood management for Breedlove Guitars. “This guitar is a celebration of our planet and our commitment to creating instruments that inspire players while honoring the environment.”
The Oregon Concert CE Red Cedar-Myrtlewood – Earth Day Special Edition will be unveiled at the 2025 NAMM Show, which will take place Jan. 23-25 at the Anaheim Convention Center. Visit Breedlove Guitars at Booth 212A to explore this meaningful addition to the Oregon Series.
