CALABASAS, Calif.— November 22, 2016—Line 6, Inc. today announced HelixTM 2.10 firmware, a free update for Helix and Helix Rack that includes new models and features which add even more power, flexibility and sonic versatility to the Helix experience. In addition to three new amps and two new effects, Helix 2.10 includes new editing features and software improvements that enhance workflows, enabling greater control over both tone and live performance.

Helix 2.10 firmware introduces new amp models based on the clean and lead channels of the Paul Reed Smith® Archon®, plus a new original, Line 6 Litigator, inspired by boutique mid-gain amps, as well as new delay and distortion effects. New editing, routing and control options offer greater flexibility, while refinements to existing parameters and entirely new parameters enable guitarists to expand their tonal possibilities further. Finally, general improvements and optimizations enhance the overall user experience.
The flagship, tour-ready Helix guitar processor features a breakthrough HX modeling engine with dual-DSP processing that delivers incredible modeling realism, accurately recreating the dynamic feel of tube amplifiers and the lush sonic footprint of classic effects pedals.
